Adding Custom Content?

I just finished adding in all the new qualities, resonance stuff, programs, decks, etc from Data Trails, and I just realized I don't know how to import the stuff. When I first load up SR5, it doesn't allow me to check user content. I didn't put a source in any of it, is that my problem?

Thanks!

I finally found the stuff I put in. Is it normal for a custom entered quality through the editor to have to choose up to the points it's worth (i.e., Leeeeeroy Jenkins is a 20 point negative quality, so I put it in the editor with a value of -20, but when I chose it from the qualities, it was worth 0, and I had to manually go to the -20)?

That sounds like you may have checked the "Custom Cost and Name" option in the editor, which overrides any fixed price, and asks the user to enter a price.

Yeah, I did. I fixed all that, but now I can't get programs to show up to be available for purchase. Have no idea what I'm doing incorrect. I copied and edited existing programs, and they all show up as grey and center justified (looks like gear you can't afford, but even at "E" resources, an 80 nuyen program is affordable...)Dongles either, but I wasn't confident I could figure that out.

Going to try Chrome Flesh info sometime today.

I am doing it wrong by exporting the info and it becomes a .hl file to import?

Another question (or 2)...if a quality gives bonus dice to a test, how would that be entered?

And if a composure test is required to avoid something (i.e., Leeeeeroy Jenkins), should that be entered under activation, or just leave out entering the needed test?

When working on this sort of thing, my advice is to think of similar things that already exist somewhere else. So how about the analytical mind quality, that adds dice under certain circumstances to all tests linked to a particular attribute, or the Catlike quality, that increases a specific skill's dicepool at all times. There's also the first impression quality, that adds dice to all skills in a category, under certain circumstances. Copy those items, study their scripts, and then adapt them to make your items.
