Activation after adding data packs

Today I added two data packs to my Hero Lab licenses (Ultimate magic and Ultimate Combat).

Per the instructions I re-activated my license to enable the new data packs, but the license validation fails and now I have to wait three days to unlock the program.

What gives?

Surely you can put a better system in place?
 
Do you have Hero Lab installed on multiple computers?

When installing it on the later computers, did you re-use the same license number from the first computer on one of the others? Or did you use the "Obtain Secondary License" option from the License menu to get a new number for each computer?
