AB3.1 limit on tabs shown?

Just wondering if AB3.1 and prior had a limit on the amount of tabs shown at once. I have noticed, as well as a user that tabs are cut short if the total tabs exceeds 6. The last tab only shows partially, but if selected will expand out to the full text in that tab. Obviously the size of the text in the tab may have something to do with it, but perhaps is it the expected default screen resolution?
 
I assume you're talking about the tabs for the different option categories? They should be limited only by screen space - I think there would be a 32-button limit, but not a 6-button one. If you can't see some categories that you should be able to, I think the only thing you could do would be to increase the screen height / pull the dragger bar "up" to allocate more of the screen to the roster.
