AB startup crash with wireless

I have already disabled checking for updates on startup. It makes no difference with this problem.

If I start with a wired connection, it works.
If I start where my last network connection was wired, it works.
If I start with a wireless connections, it doesn't work.
If I start where my last network connection was wireless, it doesn't work.

If it doesn't work, reinstalling will get it to work once. Next time I restart, it will fail again.

Clearly AB is doing something with my network on a normal startup, even though I have disabled checking for updates. Whatever this something is, it is something it does not do after an install or after a restart due to registering.

I have the same problem. I just loaded it on my laptop, which is connected to my in-home wireless network. It crashed on first load, then came up in demo mode after that! I am so pissed. I'd load it in my desktop, but I have to wait 120 days under their draconian liscensing restriction. I'm seriously considering doing Excel spreadsheets for my lists, or going back to AB v. 2 -- it never gave me any problems, and I used it for years.
