AB in Linux - Wine

VMware costs a solid chunk of change these days, and if you run Windows 2000 thats over $500 to run a few Windows toys. Unless there's some other licence that you can purchase from VMware that I'm unaware of?

I get exactly the same error, and I'm beginning to suspect it's because I'm using the 1.x registration disk instead of a newer 2.x registration disk. Are those people who've gotten AB to work under WINE using the newer CDs or not?
