OK, what did I do this time? (For those that don't want to read the
following - either go the appropriate files area
(/ab-files/warhammer@fantasy%battes/ or /direwolf_wh/armybuilder/) OR can
download (and install) them directly through Armybuilder's Locate Files
function.)
I would like to thank Christian Melchior for the nearly fully finished Dark
Elf file and modifying the RH Dark Elves. I would also like to thank Frans
Rossouw for the UBAB AB File - Frans I modified it to work better with all
the rest of the files and for me to update.
Well, I added the Dark Elves (sans Spec Chars or Alternate Armies), the
Unofficial Bretonnian Army Book (sans Spec Chars or Alternate Armies), Added
the Following Spec Chars:
- Empire: von Raukov and Karl Franz
- Dogs of War: the Witch Hunters
- Vampire Counts: Konrad von Carstein, Sethep the Merciless, and Melkhoir;
Made bug fixes:
- Stopped Spec Chars from taking more magic items (except Neferata -
something is up with her)
- Fixed the city guard in the RH Dark Elves file
- Added back the White Cloak
- Removed the Usage Conflict between Missile Weapons and Shields
- Fixed the Rune of Reloading
- Fixed the Rune of Kingship
- Cleaned up the text in the Vampire Counts magic items.
- Stopped people from taking both magic armor and magic shields (except for
Enchanted Shield)
- Fixed Rune of Sanctuary
- Increased allowed points for Dwarf BSB
- Fixed Skink Skirmisher Champ's St and BS
- Removed conflict between Sword of Kings and shields
- Fixed Chaos Steeds WS
- Fixed Stegadon's text.
- Added Skirmish to Salamander unit
- Fixed Trollslayers so you could have 100% Giant Slayers and it still
counts as a Special Unit
- Fixed Stigany Armor Save
- Modified Wand of Jet so that it modifies the Power and Dispel pools
- Changed text for Swordmasters' Great Weapons
- Fixed 2 out of 3 bugs with Tomb Lord's chariot - unfortunately I just
realized it still costs 0 pts.
- Made Armor Save Characteristic go to 0+
- Made major modifications to DoW army and other army selections of said
units. I put all of the Regiments of Renown (the named units) and the
unofficial non-human Generals into the Spec Chars section. Therefore, if
you want to see them click Special Characters under the Settings Menu. For
other armies I have split up the Regiments of Renown and the generic Dogs of
War units to make selecting your mercenaries easier (no need to activate
Special Characters).
See AB Files FAQ under Help Menu for things to come in the future.
Currently active Bugs:
1) Tomb Lord's Chariot still costs 0 rather 60 pts.
2) Spec Chars magic item pts showing up in composition summary
3) Multiples of same Rune do not change stats appropriately (will be fixed
upon ABv2.2 release)
4) Necrarch's Bloodline Power: Nek... Noble Blood is still not working
correctly. Please verify your Power and Dispel pools before play.
5) Do not verify that your general has the highest leadership.
6) Selection of a Chariot for a Character can lead to overcounting the
number of special/rare slots used (for races with chariots that have a 2 for
1 slot allocation).
7) The requirement for a Slann in 2000+ pt RH Lizardman army is not checked.
8) Daemon casting and dispel pools are incorrectly calculated if there are
more than 24 daemons in any one unit
9) Armor that is unmodifiable is being modified.
10) UBAB Heros don't work right when made Lahmian Swains.
Now I can go out and do some stuff this Memorial Weekend - oh, the weekend
is over
