Yes, I've nailed in some more bug fixes which some of you have
complained about. No 'Codex: Craftworld Eldar' yet, I'm afraid; you'll
have to wait until I wander by GW and pick up a copy.
The less confused of you may recall how I ran out of Greek letters to
name the files after the last release; thanks to those of you who sent
suggestions. The most notable were:
Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, etc. - too similar
Morse code - "Dot dot dash pattern"
The periodic table - too boring
Flavors of Quarks - not enough of them
Prime numbers - I can hear it now. "What happened to four?"
Pokemon - the assassins are on their way, do not leave the house
Everything else I could think of had two problems; it was in no real
order (e.g., greek gods), or many of them sounded silly (planets and
moons). Therefore, I'm going with colours, in spectral order. Woohoo
WHITE PATTERN CHANGES
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*
Imperial Guard:
All Heavy Weapon team members now have Lasguns, not just those with
Heavy Weapons.
Catachans:
All Heavy Weapon team members now have Lasguns, not just those with
Heavy Weapons.
Sly Marbo is now a Sniper, rather than an HQ unit.
Space Marines:
The Attack Bike Squadron now has a Heavy Bolter by default, and a fixed
number of Twin Bolter / 2 Bolt Pistols.
Eldar:
One of the Vyper Shuriken Cannon is now called "Shuriken Cannon
Upgrade".
Space Wolves:
Let Terminators take Master-Crafted Weapons.
Major change: Created two races. Normal, and with Wolf Guard. Use
whichever takes your fancy. If you can't work out what the difference
is, you are too stupid to be using the 40K files and should immediately
jump out a window. (They're the big glass things in the sides of
buildings.) Yes, this is a nasty way to do things. Sorry.
Fixed the Special Characters, so they work properly.
Corrected the points cost of the Meltagun to 8 for all Blood Claw packs.
Blood Claw Jump Packs now don't give errors when they have the right
combination of weapons (oops).
Ulrik the Slayer's Mentor ability is now useable.
Taking Ulrik the Slayer now doesn't stop you taking another Wolf Priest.
If a Wolf Guard takes a Cyclone Missile Launcher, as if by magic a
'storm bolter' option appears which is selectable.
Added a bit of validation to the Wolf Guard's ability to take Heavy
Weapons. I suspect that this will cunningly fool anyone who tries to
take illegal weapon combinations.
The Wolf Guard Leader should now be charged the correct amount of points
for his weapons.
Stopped Wolf Guard in Terminator Armour taking Lascannon.
Let Grey Hunters take a Razorback (possibly; at least, someone
complained about it, and you can do it now).
Corrected random problems with the Wolf Guard Battle Leader.
Orks:
Corrected the Painboss' Initiative to 3.
Dark Angels:
The Tactical Squad's Razorback option now operates using logic, rather
than twisted evilness.
Assassins:
Corrected a typo in the Eversor's description.
Legion of the Damned, Titans:
Let various chapters take the proper squads.
