AB Creator crashing

Hi there

Not sure if this is something on my local machine or more generally - since the last update I have had ABC start to crash out on me. This happens when I go File > Open > Data file. The file browser window doesn't open and then a crash message comes up (the generic windows xxx has stopped working) - no crash report is generated.

Anyone else experienced this?
