A Special Horse

Hi there,

I have a Savage Worlds character who has a specific horse (it's in his backstory and a story hook). How would I represent that? I can add a simple horse in his gear, but I can't modify it or name it. Is there a way to add an animal as an ally like they do in the 3.5E section with animal familiars?

1. Go to the Allies tab and add an ally.
2. Click on the crosshairs button to go to the ally.
3. Go to the Character menu and select Configure Hero.
4. For the character type, select Creature.
5. For the creature type (at the top where Race normally is), select the proper horse type.
6. Customize as appropriate to your special horse.

That ought to get you rolling!

I'm getting an error when I do this. I follow your instructions here, Rob, but I still get a validation Error stating "Human: this selection is not permitted (all effects are ignored)."
