A couple of questions

Hi,
Sorry if these are covered elsewhere, I'd appreciate any help with a couple of questions.

Could anyone please tell me the proceedure here? As an Empire player I'm looking forward to the new books data file showing up as an update in my AB3.1. I see that here on these forums there is a file being discussed for bugs etc. Am I right in thinking that a file will be discussed for bugs here and then when ready and in good shape will be hosted as an update that shows up in AB?

These forums show a board for WFB 6th edition, but we are well into 7th nowadays so should that be changed? or is there somewhere else I should look for discussion of 7th.

the best place for you to get your questions answered is to post them and
watch the Support Forum.

But isn't that what I'm doing here? I'm in the Support Forum.

It seems that time marches on and there is still no finished update for the Empire Warhammer list. Can anyone tell us what its ETA is?

No one has replied until now, because you've posted this query in a forum intended for issues with the behavior of the support forums and site. This forum doesn't get monitored very closely, since posts appear in it very rarely. For questions pertaining to WFB, please use the WFB forum in the future.

Given the relatively minor adjustments from WFB 6th to WFB 7th, the current AB files actually support both editions. Yes, the forum should likely be renamed, so I'll put that on the todo list.

The material from the new Empire book will be incorporated into the WFB data files by the data file author. This process usually takes about one month from the time of release of the army book in the US (which I believe is where the author lives). So the update should be available relatively soon now.
