so i dont have the rulebook yet (i am picking it up this week) but here is what i have heard... there are no changes in the main rules that really affect the data files, except maybe some changed text somewhere. so i am going to keep the same set of data files and just rename it to 6th/7th edition.
a new orc armybook is out next month, so that will get added just like the new dwarves did.

The changes that would appear in AB are pretty minor.
-All 8 lores of magic have significant changes.
-Great Weapons only give +1S when mounted on horseback
-Pistols can alway stand and shoot. A brace of pistols has multiple shots x2 and can always S&S.
-Pistols count as hand weapons in CC (not additional). A brace of pistols counts as 2 hand weapons.
-Enchanted Shield can no longer be used w/another magical armor choice.
-Any magical shield offers a parry bonus (+1 SV w/hand weapon).
-Frenzy give a +1 attack for each stat line with an A score if any part is affected (e.g. savage boyz boars are frenzied).
That's all I can think of off the top of my head. I'm not sure if these logic changes will require a 7th edition branch.
