4e not working for me

I purchased the 4e set to build a character for an upcoming game, but I re-activate license and every time I open the Character Builder, it doesn't let me choose Class / Race / etc., and instead says "Nothing to choose from!"

Just wondering if there's some error on my part, or rather - where the error would be on my part :).
 
Hi.

Have you downloaded content from D&D Insider? That might be the issue. There's some information on our website that might be helpful.

If you've downloaded content from D&D Insider, and are still having this problem, please e-mail me with your license number and we'll take a look on this end.
 
Once you have the 4e files open within Hero Lab, go to the Help menu along the top, and choose the "4th Edition Manual" option. It's the first topic within the manual.
