1 year subscribtion fail?

I've recently purchased (September 1st 2009) a subscription extension and everything worked fine, up until now. AB now tells me that my one year subscription is no longer valid... WTH??? Is this a common problem with a simple solution or do I have to start a lenghty discussion with someone in the support department of the company?

Cheers

First of all, the "extension" does exactly that - it extends your license for another year from the original inception date. It does not start a new year from the date you extend the license.

When you extended your license on September 1st, you initiated the process from a page that outlined all the details of how license extensions work. Both your current and new expiration dates were shown on that page. In fact, the button you clicked to purchase the extension had the new expiration date spelled out within it in an effort to make sure that there was no confusion. I'm not sure what we could have done to make this clearer, so I'd love to hear your suggestions on what we can change in the interface to avoid this problem.
