I have noticed a lot of items listed as options in the most recent update of the Army Builder file (March 20, 2009) that are not in the version 7 Dark Elves army book. I am assuming that these were items available in version 6 (I remember most of the magic items from version 6) and since the file called 6th/7th ed. you kept all of the items from both versions on the list.

Wouldn't it be better to have to seperate Army Builder files for each of the versions? Each version has differences such as the costs per warrior changing, some magic items have changed their properties (i.e. Black Staff) and new items were added and old ones removed.

When you create the roster, you choose whether to use 6e or 7e rule sets. If you're seeing 6e stuff when you select 7e, you'll need to specify what exactly you're seeing.

Also, be sure you're prohibiting things like Albion and Storm of Chaos.
