I'm having problems with purchasing a Combat Spell Fetish as gear. I can't seem to figure how to declare what spell the Fetish is supposed to be tied to. No matter what I try, it is failing validation and the spell continues to show that the appropriate Fetish is not present.
Any suggestions? |

If you're in advancement mode, be careful to purchase things using the "Customize" button instead of the "Add" or "Add & Close" buttons, then make sure you select the category before you finalize the purchase of that item.

He needs to file it as a bug.
I made a starting magician, took sorcery skill group at 4 and added a combat spell bought a combat spell fetish, there's a dropdown to select something, but nothing in the list to select. Last edited by cryptoknight; October 15th, 2012 at 12:46 PM. Reason: Attached bugged profile |

You need to check the 'Fetish' checkbox by the spell on the magic tab for it to show up in the list.

Yeh; the drop-down list only includes spells that are actually eligible for a Fetish.

That makes sense, but obviously is a bit confusing. Especially if you haven't messed with Fetishes in HL before. Thanks.
Vex, was this your problem, and does this fix it for you? |
