cavalier mount issue

My mount doesn't seem to be gaining levels. I started at level 9 with a level 9 mount and now I'm level 11 with a level 9 mount.

Please give me more detail about your character. I can't diagnose what's wrong with what you've given me. Most specifically, where exactly is the "Companion Level" being listed?

Also, do you have the "Don't Restrict Companion Race" optional rule selected? That can cause a lot of wierd things to happen.
