I am running Windows ME, Card Vault 1.1, and L5R data version 3.1.
I have finally got all of the working and running fine. I have a license on my desktop and the other one on my laptop. When I tried to move the inventory from my laptop to my desktop, it would not work. Here is what I did. 1. Save the XML inventory version to floppy, then tried to load it into Card Vault. When I went to look at the inventory, all the cards read zero for quantity owned. I have not put any number into any other quantity. 2. I tried to copy the inv.cvz and backups files from the laptop to my desktop and use Windows Explorer to simply copy them into CV's data directory. This had the same effect as above. I am wondering if this is some kind of bug, something I am doing wrong, or just one of those things. I'm pretty sure I tried #1 with CV version 1.0 and was able to put my laptop inventory onto my desktop. Any help, as usual, would be really appreciated. If I enter my entire collection as in mint, good and fine condition, then try to load it onto another system, the default quality displayed is "Unknown" and thus it looks like no cards are present. The default quality displayed can be changed via the settings menu. When you try to load your inventory in, did you make sure the "Update Models Owned / Excess Models / Models Wanted" checkboxes were all ticked? Are the Owned / Excess / Acquire totals at the top-right all zero, or have they changed to the correct totals? These are all the 'simple' things I can think of that might make your inventory not appear once you've loaded it in... if they don't help, let us know and we'll see what else to try. -- Colen McAlister (colen@wolflair.com) Lone Wolf Development www.wolflair.com ------------------------ Yahoo!
