Trying to Make a Psionic Character and Failing

Hi Guys,

Sorry if this is a double post - I tried to post before but I think the ether ate it.

Anyways, I am trying to build a psionics character. I have Advanced Player Guide, Ultimate Combat and Ultimate Magic. I have downloaded 3PP pack installed it. I can see -nothing- related to psionics in Hero Lab at all. I do see the 3pp Pack activated in my 3rd part licenses under the Tools tabs so it appears to be working. But I can't even get a psionic class into my class list.

What have I missed?

Not sure if it's what you're after, but the "psionic" type classes were introduced with the "Occult Adventures" book.

If you mean the Psionics Unleashed classes, you need to go into Configure Hero on the Character menu (or Ctrl+k) and make sure that DSP - Ultimate Psionics is checked on the character.

Occult Adventures is not listed as a required pack for 3PP which contains Ultimate Psionics.

I cannot find DSP - Ultimate Psionics in the character configuration menu.

Have you restarted HL after installing the 3PP Pack? When you start HL are you getting any errors?

The data files could not be loaded due to errors. Hero Lab will now attempt to load them in recovery mode. Once loaded, you can access the editor as normal to correct any errors.

The following errors occurred:

Thing 'tmAP80CadC' - Thing requires thing 'tmZomJuju' that does not exist

Charlie - thanks for the pic. I don't have that section in my configuration window, even though the pack shows as loaded so there must be an error, maybe in the above, but I don't know what it means.

When Hero Lab gets errors on opening, no .user files get loaded, which means none of the Packs, which is why you're not seeing Ultimate Psionics.

What Packs did you install besides the 3PP? That error looks to me like you might have loaded the Mythic Pack without having Mythic Adventures; see here.

Pretty much as charlieluce says. Please follow Pack FAQ#13 on how to fix your issue.

Really soon the release of the new community "Pathfinder Pack" will be out and the license issue will be a thing of the past. Yeah!
