With the Mac version coming out soon, Realm Works coming out soon... I think... well rather HOPE that the very next major achievement that Lone Wolf focus's on is the Android version for tablets... so we can use BOTH Realm works and Hero Labs from the tablets!! and soon! hehe

I'm personally hoping to see Android, as I am planning on getting a Transformer Prime HD when it comes out this summer.

Alternatively, Windows 8 should be an easier adaptation, as recompiling a program for ARM is not supposed to be difficult. A Metro UI would be nice, but simple functionality should be a quick adjustment.

You have my full vote, I would love to see at least a viewer and on the fly editor to use to start, but would definately pay extra for a licence for an Android version.

I have been thinking about it and I think that in order to retain compatibility with HL I am going to get a tablet pc. This is a good pic of one.

I used to do tech support for them so I got a firsthand experience in using them. Now that I am gaming again and am using HL once more I plan on getting this so I can HL where ever my gaming takes me.

Now that I have my tablet, I'm putting in a full vote for Android.

Another vote for Android.

Honestly though, the smartest move LW could make is building the app in a cross platform language, even if it meant hiring someone new. It would give HL much greater market exposure and not alienate one group.

I've heard a whisper on the winds of another company putting together a product that runs from a laptop and will allow HL to be used through it. I think it is something of a cloud system and the HL information will be displayed through a browser.

I have a good lead on this and I will be following up at Gen Con about it. Wont really know anything more before then though.

I would actually be happy with an Android .por viewer that could simply render the HL .por files xml into a human readable format,

I'd be happy with just a Android .por viewer as well. In the meantime, I'm having SOME success using 2x Application Server and their Android app to remotely connect to my PC and access Hero Lab from it.

It runs ok if not a little small. A native app would still be WAY better and something I'd pay for.

Until we get the chance to circle back on the Android port after we finish the iPad, you can always just print to PDF and then view the PDF on the Android tablet. I believe there are also equivalent tools to the Splashtop iPad app on the Android, but I'm not sure of their names. I've heard very good things about Splashtop working well for users over the past year.
