Is there some way to tag items as not being carried or being banked?

I added 10,000 gp to a character to set up later item purchases and noticed that they're carrying all of it!

But then ALL his money will be without weight.
Haw about you create a bank slip gear that has negligible weight and to which you assign the appropriate monetary value ?

Also, there's going to be stuff like saddles and so on that I'm going to want to designate as being owned but not carried.

The architecture is already in place to have the notion of "containers". Containers will be able to hold different types of gear. And containers can hold other containers, so a horse could contain saddle bags, which contain equipment. Or a hero can hold a backpack, which hold equipment. Or even something more complex. So we've designed in a good solution to this, but we didn't think lots of players were going to want it, so we haven't actually implemented it yet. Given that your not the first person to ask about this, we were clearly wrong. So it should be added relatively soon as we get all of the editing completely into the product.

A really great feature would a "At Home" list. For all of the gear that you leave at home or wherever.

I found that you can go into the "in-play" tab and change Encumbrance and leave a detailed description of the change. I thought this might help untill they get something implenmented.
