LW:
I'm going through Ultimate Psionics and trying to add their psionic items. Can you add the basic discipline information and a option to add power description information so it can be selected in the interface. As an example a normal magic item might have a divination school as it's "aura", and be able to cast protection from evil. The equivalent of being able to manifest a clarsentient power and manifest a specific power is not available. (Just using examples). This is basic reference information that could be added to the interface for full compatibility. Last edited by Quintain; March 15th, 2017 at 08:34 PM. |

Lonewolf doesn't do psionics, or support them.
Ultimate Psionics, is part of the community package, maintained by Shadow Chemosh and other contributors. That's the best place to request things that are part of that package. It's all done on a volunteer basis, dependent upon free time being available. |

LW also did the UI components for both Windows/Mac/iPad of Psionics. This is different than say Path of War where I created the underlying components myself and LW had no part in it. Hero Lab Resources: Pathfinder - d20pfsrd and Pathfinder Pack Setup 3.5 D&D (d20) - Community Server Setup 5E D&D - Community Server Setup Hero Lab Help - Hero Lab FAQ, Editor Tutorials and Videos, Editor & Scripting Resources. Created by the community for the community - Realm Works kickstarter backer (Alpha Wolf) and Beta tester.- d20 HL package volunteer editor. |

Maybe LW will support psionics at some point then... an Ultimate Psionics package would sell rather well, I'd assume.

DSP could hire someone to do that and have it sold in HL. Have you not read Occult Adventures?
"Beyond the worship of the divine and the studies of arcane scholars lies the mysterious terrain of the mind, accessed through psychic magic. Classes that draw upon psychic magic do so via innate mental abilities, whether they directly cast spells, create elemental effects, or focus psychic energy through objects." Psionics in everything but name :-) |

The Psychic magic system shares a lot more, mechanically, with slot casting of normal magic than the point based Psionics system DSP works with.

Yeah.. Psychic Magic is "Vancian" magic ... just another flavor like Divine spellcasting is to Arcane spellcasting. The major difference is that some of the spell components are replaced with new ones.. Thought and Emotion.
Oddly, though, the Psychic powers of monsters use a point-based system (though quite different from DSP's Psionics). |
