I have downloaded the newest version of AB, V3.5 and the program now says my PDF files are out of date and need to be updated. I have attempt to download the separate PDF download and it says that I can't update because something is using the PDF. Also, my saved files are suddenly not accurate. For example, in Bolt Action Officers for Reinforced Platoons for showing up as both a 2nd and 1st Lt and showing an error.

It now appears if I modify anything from the default setting and save the entry, the saved file comes back with an error. For example, the default setting for a MMG is for a regular troop classification. If I change the setting to either Veteran or Inexperienced and save the file, when I exam the file again, there is an error for the MMG entry. It will show both the default setting and the changed setting.

I've had the same problem coming up with saved rosters from v3.4 - it looks like if the default option that has got a preset option selected if changed then the list is saved the reloaded it enables the default as well as option chosen.
I've also had various users report this My own Warlord Games gallery and the home of the Warlord Games datafiles: http://www.facebook.com/ABDataFileWarlordGames |

Bogrot, your issue with the PDF plugin is actually separate from some of the other problems users are reporting.
You need to download the new PDF plug-in from the automatic updates. Once that installer is running you can shutdown Army Builder and click the 'Retry' button and the PDF plug in installer can then proceed. Or you can install it from our website here (make sure Army Builder is not running): http://www.wolflair.com/rightframe.p...ntal_downloads. Please let me know if that works! |
