Would it be feasible to customise the error messages that are displayed for a live statement failing the live state test?
As an example using the Dark Eldar files (dark.dat and deAUG.aug). A raider (deRaider) is selectable as a transport for a unit with a maximum capacity of 10. The option is assigned to the retinue (deRetinue) and the live statement that controls the option (deTransRet) is 'val:runtime.deTptSpc? < 11'. To create the error message, add a lord then add a retinue. Highlight the retinue and then add a raider from the transport tab and then select Add Warriors from the Add Unit tab. Highlight the warriors in the roster pane and increase the count to 10. The error message is displayed stating 'Retinue: Illegal selection' and when highlighting the retinue and looking on the transport tab the 'Add raider' is in red. The facility is available for the exclusions to add a custom message - wouild it be possible to have the same facility for a live statement as in the above example - it would make it a lot wasier for users to understand exactly where they had gone wrong. thanks |
