Just bought the V3 of AB and noticed that when I take a unit of Nobz and try to upgrade one Nob to a painboy it does something strange. It lists the cost of the painboy upgrade as 30 points (as in the codex), but when I actually chose the upgrade it adds 50 or 60 points to the unit's cost point total. It also then says that the painboy's cost is 50 or 60 points on the left side of the screen where you choose him in the unit options.

Is that a known issue? Should I just add up the points on my own for that unit (since the total printed out will be too high) and explain it to an opponent at a game, or what?

Thanks

I looked at that and got that too. you might as well just open the ABCreator and lower the cost.

1) It helps to post in the appropriate forum, not the general forum which politely asks you not to post bugs about the datafiles here.

2) If you were to look closely, you'll notice that AB is adding a Painboy instead of upgrading an existing Nob. 20 points for the Nob that's added then the 30 points to upgrade him to a Painboy. The files are correct, you just have more models in the unit then you think you have.
