A little disappointed there was no concrete info on Realm Works in the funky newsletter.

Cheers

Both. There will be a rich client that allows offline operation, making it possible to reliably run games at Cons and other locales without internet access. There will also be synchronization through the net to enable the collaboration capabilities. More specifics will be announced once a few remaining things are finalized.

There should be a LOT of info regarding Realm Works posted next month, and it will be featured prominently in the September newsletter.

I have to admit I'm curious and confused by your chose of words. What do you mean by "funky" newsletter?

Sorry to confuse. Most newsletters I've subscribed to are basically just written emails. Nice to get graphics and all. Although, are you using roman numerals and it was eight days late, or is "August XX" is some cryptic reference?

Cheers
Mark

Well, we ran out of days in September and didn't get everything into place that was necessary before we could release major details about Realm Works. We're still in the midst of revamping the UI, which was initially crude and simple while we focused first on getting the core functionality working. One of the big things we want to provide along with product details is screenshots, which will be invaluable in describing many of the cool features of Realm Works. Alas, we didn't get the UI work sufficiently completed this month, so we don't have good screenshots yet, and that means we can't reasonably post lots of product details.

We're pushing hard to get important chunks of the UI work done, after which we'll be able to take some screenshots. As soon as we've got some good screenshots ready, we'll post a bunch of product details on the website and link to them here.

We appreciate everyone's patience on this, and apologize for the delay.
