Return of the Runelords Campaign Trait Bug

I'm encountering a bug in the Return of the Runelords campaign traits. For most of them, ticking the Ch. 3 upgrade adds a helper line where they choose which of the two abilities they wish to increase.

However, the Intrigued by Thassilon trait, when the Ch. 3 upgrade is activated, adds an ability selection box on the trait line AND adds the helper. This ends up applying the trait bonus to BOTH ability scores, or doubling the bonus on one ability score.

I've also reported this via the Email Technical Support option in HLC.

Best to report it as a bug to LW Support, but don't expect it to be fixed. LW has quietly abandoned HLC.

Yes, as I said, I've also reported it. Given that it's a data file bug I do think it may fixed.

It has been over 3 years since any fixes. LW will not even respond to questions about any type of update for HLC. I hope you are right. I would love to see any fix. I like your optimism. I wish I had it.

There was a fix to the Hero Lab for Mac app just last November. It has been a long time since the Pathfinder data file was updated, though. I'm hoping that's because it's relatively stable and not because it doesn't get fixes. Although in the grand scheme of things this bug has an easy workaround.
