Of course they don't. Thanks for the update, CC.
Although LW have said that HLC will still be supported, it appears that work on anything other than HLO has ground almost to a complete standstill. I guess this applies even to game systems where all the work is done for them by volunteers. |

In light of the delays, can anyone tell me how to write a script to use the new encumbrance rules for SWADE? I haven't been able to figure it out.

Well, to be clear, I am not a volunteer. I am a consultant to LWD and I am paid for my work. Except for the Settings I am responsible for, of course. Settings have always been fan-produced.

Ah, cool! I was confused by your title. Thanks for clarifying that. The issue is still the same though - the code is written and just needs review and testing.

I am looking forward to the SWADE plugin release, however I am worried that the time it is taking, Herolab will fall behind other character generators like the Savaged.US website.

I think Lone Wolf's nich was that they support a lot of different game systems. It is beginning to seem like their only interest are the Paizo lines. Pathfinder and Starfinder are fine I suppose but I don't play them, nor does a lot of the gaming community since 5e took off.
I would gladly pay for the SWADE game files. It's different enough that it really is close to being its own rule set. |

Is Hero Labs going to make SWADE rules available? Did miss that somewhere?

Lol. Yeah, this entire thread is about updating the ruleset in Hero Lab to SWADE. CC has completed the file and passed it on to the rest of Lone Wolf for review which is what we are waiting on before it can be released.
Lenny Zimmermann Metairie, LA, USA Data files authored (please let me know if you see any issues with any of these if you have/use them): Official (In the downloader) 50 Fathoms, Deadlands: Hell On Earth, Deadlands: Noir, East Texas University, Necessary Evil (requires Super Powers Companion), Pirates of the Spanish Main, Space 1889 (original file by Erich), Tour of Darkness, Weird War II, Weird Wars: Rome Coming Eventually Evernight (LWD has completed their review but I have some fixes to make first... although Pinnacle mentioned this might get an overhaul to SWADE so I may just wait for that first. If you just HAVE to have this now, though, just PM me) |
