I'm trying to buy the PF1E stuff while it's on sale, but it seems to indicate I need hero lab classic to add the PF essential rulebooks, then it asks me to pick a patron level (HLO add standard and HLO add patron) and a system (HLO PF 1st edition and HLO PF1 classic users). what does all this mean? It's very confusing on what I need to buy, I just want the following:

Pathfinder RPG Essential Rulebooks Bundle
Pathfinder RPG EXpanded Rulebooks Bundle

Am I in the hole an extra $30 before I can even use one of the book bundles?

Are you planning to use Hero Lab Classic or Hero Lab Online?

Do you own Hero Lab Classic? If yes, have you attached it to an account at lonewolfdevel.com? If no, then you need to do that under Manage Account.

If you don't have Hero Lab Classic, then you need to purchase the PF1E system before you can buy add-ons.

You shouldn't have to buy HLO service unless you want it.
