I have tried it out and the problems I reported are better. The typing problem I reported is working great now. The letters and numbers appear as soon as I type them. This could not be better. The problem with the long delay with using the up or down buttons is better but not what it should be. I am still getting a 1 to 2 second delay when moving abilities up or down. The print preview seems faster but I will have to try it with more portfolio's to be sure. Overall better.

Thanks, Dwayne, I'll be looking at this as soon as I can. Once we all get back from GenCon, we'll be looking at finalizing the 64-bit betas and making them public, so any further feedback is most appreciated.

The print preview gets slower with the number of characters in the portfolio. If you have 8 characters in the portfolio it takes about 30 seconds to load the preview for 1 character. This is still better than before but slower than a year ago with HL.

Has the finalized version been posted? Just wondering since I have not seen it appear for download under updates.

The beta version is already marked as version 8.9, so it won't appear as an update.

You can simply go to updates and choose to reinstall HL and it will download and update to the latest version.

No. It is now a standard update.

??? I don't understand. Why does the current download and installer show "hl64_89_beta888_win_install" if this is a standard update?
