Reducing Monsters

HL is great for templates or increasing monsters but what about reducing or altering? Trying to make a Giant Ant Worker but can't figure out how to remove the sting/poison or grab ability.

Anyone have an idea or do I need to just go into the editor and build it from scratch?

Decided to just make the Giant Ant Worker and I am close but can't seem to figure out how to add Scent Ability or the racial mode for Survival and Perception along with Immunity from Mind Effect.

In the editor, you'll find the "New (Copy)" button on the bottom left - you can use that to copy the existing giant ant, so that you only need to apply the changes from giant ant to giant ant worker.

Also, have you read the editor manual? Tutorial 8 covers the process of creating a complex race, and includes how to add special abilities. (The manual is available from the Help menu in the editor).
