I have two laptops running AB. The machine with my primary license runs fine. The machine that has the secondary license cannot retrieve updates. On the loading screen, the icon just keeps spinning, and when I click the "Check for updates" link, it gives me the standard error message to try back later. I've shut of A/V wondering if something was getting in the way (though I use the same A/V on both). Running XP on both machines.

Thoughts?

Go to the Tools menu, and choose "Diagnostics -> Check Internet Connection". Can you copy and paste the results here?

No problems could be found with your internet connection.

Retrieval from wolflair.com succeeded.
Retrieval from lonewolfdevel.com succeeded.

Sorry for losing track of this thread for a while. I assume you got those results from running the diagnostic on your secondary machine?

Try going to https://www.lonewolfdevel.com/ in your browser on the second machine. Can you view the page? Note the https:// instead of just http:// - it's possible that your secondary machine is having a problem with secure http, which the diagnostics didn't test - that was an oversight by me which I've now fixed.
