Need help from the group here. I have the program on my desktop and
my laptop, and I do most of the work on the laptop. I want to transfer my work from the laptop to the desktop so I can have a nice printing of it. What files do I need to copy from the laptop card vault in order to have an accurate inventory on my desktop? any help is appreciated? |

All inventory data is saved in the file named "inv.cvz". There is a
separate inventory file for every game system, and the file will be saved in the appropriate folder for each game. Beneath the Card Vault directory, go to the "data" folder and then select the folder appropriate to the game system. Copy the "inv.cvz" file over to the same location on your other computer. Another option is to export your entire inventory to an XML file (via the Tools button within inventory), copy that across, and the load the XML into the other computer. This latter option is probably a little safer, but both should work for you. Just make sure that you are running the exact same set of data files on both computer, else you will likely run into problems.
