GenCon 2013 Question

Hello,

I was wondering if the seminars from GenCon 2013 will be available for later viewing on Youtube or the Wolflair website.

Well.... I just got notification of cancellation on the Friday Hero Lab and Realm Works seminars. So I guess THEY won't be available.

Actually, GenCon messed up in scheduling the seminars, changing the timeslots on us. The only way they could fix things was by cancelling them and then re-listing them. So both seminars should already be back online, but with flip-flopped timeslots.

If you signed up for the seminars and received the cancellation notice, please go back and sign up for them again.

Sorry for the hassle...

So; the 10am Friday should be back on the schedule? I can't find it listed, only the one for Saturday and that is smack in the middle of Iron GM.... was really looking forward to this one! Does anyone have an event ID?

To answer the original question, we don't have the facilities or staff to record the GenCon seminars. If someone is interested in doing so, that's perfectly acceptable and we'll be happy to work with that person to make it happen. We'll also make any resulting recording available for viewing. So if anyone wants to volunteer...

Please note that there may be other factors involved that could be problematic. For example, it's possible that GenCon make not approve of making a recording. I doubt that will be the case, but it's not something we've investigated, so it's possible. I just want to point out that there could be circumstances beyond our control that mess up the best of intentions.

Apparently, GenCon has officially cancelled the two seminars, but they have not yet re-listed them for some unknown reason. We'll keep everyone apprised as we hear back from GenCon about this.

We have a new update! The seminars are now re-listed on Gen Con:

10am - "Hero Lab® - Adding Your Own Content" (SEM1352120)
12pm - "Realm Works™ - Harnessing the Power" (SEM1352121)

Hopefully you can still make the seminars.
