The new User's Manual has a What's New section, outlining the major changes.
There are so many minor ones that I am not sure it would be worht the effort to try to catalog them. |

Here I woke up to 3 emails in the cardvault folder (message rules and all that) and I got all excited. So it should be what, around 1:00 on the east coast? I can't wait.

Ooo, Keyboard Support, that's what I meant to tell you guys to do. But you did it anyway, so...
Jump directly to a matching card: -- you mean in search?? Woohoo! "Eliminate the licensing requirement for a direct internet connection." What??? Please explain. Case insensitive searches -- GOOD. Checklist Maker?? You mean like when you print inventory? "Automatic tracking for extras and wants" -- hunh? explain. --Kyle Turner emperor799@earthlink.net "Let's face it, you can buy a bucket of hair at inflated prices on ebay." -- astral_drake ----- Original Message ----- From: Edward Bolme To: cardvault@yahoogroups.com Sent: Monday, March 03, 2003 11:27 AM Subject: Re: [CardVault] Where Is It! There's a "what's new" list that highlights the big things added in V1.1.
There's also the complete (well, except for the little things we forgot) laundry list in the readme.txt file installed with CV. I'll post the highlights in a moment. The laundry list is available for anyone who really wants to see it. -Rob At 07:53 AM 3/3/2003 -0800, you wrote: >can you pretty please with sugar on top put a changelog out? It's out, too. It also includes full documentation of all the non-internal
file formats used by CV. -Rob At 11:20 AM 3/3/2003 -0500, you wrote: >Hey will a new version of the Authoring Kit be coming out? Some users want to run CV on a machine that doesn't have an internet connection - at all. CV now includes the means to do this. I just have to get the code finished up on the website to do other half now. :-) >Case insensitive searches -- GOOD. This was a BIG request item. >Checklist Maker?? You mean like when you print inventory? Yep. It's now easy print out a checklist of a new set to take with you. >"Automatic tracking for extras and wants" -- hunh? explain. CV now has a "Target" value in the inventory. You can set the target and it will automatically track the excess and acquire values for you. What did you want from someone who hadn't slept in 24 hours? Clarity? Hey, wait a minute. *I* haven't slept in 24 hours. :-( -Rob --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rob Bowes (rob@wolflair.com) (559) 658-6995 Lone Wolf Development www.wolflair.com |
