PDF Plug In for Windows (V1.8) is not working. Keeps having me redownload it each time I go to use it.

Any ideas on how to get this to work?

Some days I don't know why I bother to chew through the restraints.

Do you get an error message when it runs? Do you exit HL after you start running the plug-in (and then go back to finish installing the plug-in)?

Current RPG's: Pathfinder (GM), Pathfinder (Player), Gamma World (GM, Pathfinder homebrew).
HeroLab: 3.5 & Pathfinder. HL User Files for PF: Greyhawk Setting, Gamma World (WIP).

DM and player of D&D since 1980.

I get the following message:

To create PDF files, you must download the PDF plugin for Hero Lab. This is available as a free download from the updates mechanism.

I download the plug in, close Hero Lab, and finish installing. I restart Hero Lab, load a portfolio, click Save PDF of Hero and get the following error:

To create PDF files, you must download the PDF plugin for Hero Lab. This is available as a free download from the updates mechanism.

The installation of the PDF Plug-In always seems to run properly.

There have been previous discussions that seem to indicate that it's an issue that started when HLC began installing both the 32 and 64 bit versions. The usual workaround is to use your operating system's built in Print to PDF function, or the external PDF printer of your choice.

Currently Running: Pathfinder Second Edition
Currently Playing:
Pathfinder First Edition, Star Trek Adventures
Former HL Games: D&D 4e & 5e, Mutants & Masterminds 2E & 3E, Savage Worlds

Thanks. I am kicking myself over this. I should have thought of that.
