...I just had a nasty thought.
I'm upgrading to two new computers in the next 10 days, and I was thinking it won't be a problem with HL because it's been well over 120 days since my last installation...but I've just installed the Encounter Builder Beta, and it had a licence activation at the start. Will this count against me when I go to install my normal version of Hero Lab on the new computers? |

Hey Aldaron,
The reassignment countdown does not start until our server sees that a license number was activated on a computer with a different systemID from the previous activation. So, if you used the same license number and haven't done any upgrading to the OS or hardware then there will be no issues. If you somehow moved a license number around during this beta test process and started the timer then you will probably have to request an accelerated license request when you reactivate the affected license number on its new computer. If that is the case, I promise we will do everything we can to make sure we process those reassignment requests quickly! |
