No, for the hundredth time, I don't want to rename my link to the "updated" topic name. Stop asking me. Stopit!
But seriously. No means quit asking. I'm having Vista flashbacks. Edit: And yes, I submitted a bug report. Last edited by Mystic Lemur; November 16th, 2014 at 05:45 AM. |

I'm in the same boat. It's driving me crazy.

I'd really like to see some "realm wide" database options.
Like "force a rescan of all text", and "force replace all links to this topic". There is already a list of all the places that link this topic (it's in the sidebar for this topic) so it's not like the latter would even require a full database scan. I know there are strong technical reasons why these weren't included, but some kind of variation or workaround would be really handy. It would stop this type of thing whenever you save a topic that has changes in it. |

The pop-up is something we're aware of and on the list to be fixed. To be clear, the continual check-in is not intended behavior.

To offer an alternate viewpoint, I love how it works now. I like having control over what gets changed and what doesn't.
I dont get why a single click on the "No Thanks" button is such a huge burden for some people. |

If it were a single click, or even a single click per topic, there would be no problem. It's a single click every (click) time (click) I (click) go (click) to (click) that (click) topic (click). As with some other issues, I don't mind RW asking I mind it forgetting.

This issue should have been fixed in the release that went out last night.
