Magus archetype doesn’t work with Eldritch Trickster

Hello all,

Sorry for the question but I’m new to herolab online.

I can’t seem to get the rogue eldritch trickster dedication to work with the magus archetype. Does anyone have any idea what I’m doing wrong?

In the app from hero lab classic I could modify fields to get it to function but I’m not even finding this functionality in herolab online.

What edition are you referring to? Hero Lab Classic has never supported 2e, which is where you're posting this. But dedications are a 2e thing. Have you selected the right system in HLO for whatever you're trying to do?

It looks like HLO doesn't allow bounded spellcasting classes to be taken for eldritch trickster. Apparently "spellcasting feat" and "bounded spellcasting feat" are two different things.

I think we set it up like that because bounded spellcasting gets cited as its own thing, yeah. Though it is a bit of a gray area, may be a case where we could present it as an option with a warning of "this probably isn't technically RAW". I'll give it some thought

Another one for consideration:

I have an elf with Wildborn Magic and Wildborn Adept. When I add in Otherworldly Acumen, it tries to force me to take an arcane spell.

From the feat “ Choose one common 2nd-rank spell from the same tradition as an innate spell you previously gained from another elf ancestry feat (from the arcane list if you have Otherworldly Magic, for example). You can cast that spell as an innate spell once per day, using the same tradition as the list you chose the spell from.”

Doesn’t this mean I should be taking a primal spell?

That's a completely separate thing, and likely a bug from my recollection of rebuilding those feats. Please submit a bug report.
