Hello,

I am trying to re-create an NPC from Cult of Cinders, a Creature 8 human NPC.

When I select Custom NPC from the list, it only lets me go up to level 3. Is there something I am missing? How can I re-create this character in herolab? I'm trying to create Gerhard Pendergrast FYI.

When you started creating the NPC, the character type you chose said "Detailed Monster or NPC Using Gamemastery Guide", right? You've verified that you have the Gamemastery Guide turned on for this character? Without that, you'll be limited to creating low level monsters or making small modifications to existing monsters - enough to try the system out, but not enough to cover all the possibilities.

In PF2, Paizo published the full monster creation rules in the Gamemastery Guide, so we mirrored that in our setup (In Starfinder, the full rules are in Alien Archive 1).

I really wish there were a global option to "automatically enable newly purchased content for existing characters" or something similar. every time you buy a new book you have to go through each character one by one and enable it, which is easy to forget and a pain to do even if you remember...
