Custom Spell sheets <- click to go to download page.

V1.1 - September 19, 2011
  • Added new logic to be able to sort the spell list by a "Group By" of Level and Class. When either the class or level changes a header prints to show what the new section will be.
  • Improved logic for printing for either Spellbook classes or Spontaneous casters.
  • Tested with Hero Lab v3.8a.

Attached to this post is a pair of PDFs to show what the v1.1 of the sheets look like.

Devs, is there some way that we can "subscribe" to custom sheets? If not, is it something that the current update process can be tweaked to work with? I dig the custom sheets, but I don't always notice when stuff gets updated...

For now what Exitilus said is probably the best way for now and why I keep trying to post to this same thread.

That said for the d20 community project it is actually set into the same UPDATE mechanics you use to update Pathfinder. It would be something that I could do for the sheets and maybe the Adventure Path data sets.

There are a few procedural issues I still have to work out before I could maybe do that. It is something I have wanted to do for the Pathfinder stuff but part of the problem is how fragmented the different data sets are. Where for the d20 project it is really ONE big data set and works really well that way.

Things to think about................

Any plans for people to update their custom sheets for 3.8a? I suspect that my upgrade to 3.8a broke the 3.7a-compatible sheets.

I thought I tested both my sheet and Sebacore's sheet with 3.8a and they both worked fine from what I saw. Granted I do things very quickly.

Is there specific stuff not working you can tell me about?

I have a version with a few fixes to Sebacore's sheet. Specifically:
* Correct pathfinder image in top left corner
* Add "Conditional Modifiers" space under skills, to match form in core rulebook
* Correct "Misc. Mod." column in skills table so that the numbers add up correctly
* Correct "Type" field on weapons blocks
* Fill in "Range" field on weapons blocks

I'l send it to you for posting on your site.

Well thanks, I figured it out. Sometimes knowing someone else has done something is all you need to succeed.

I'll be uploading my Version of Sebacore's sheet. Later.

Tasha

PS thanks to everyone who has worked on this and other custom sheets. It really helped me make this one nice

armidale did send me a new version and when testing we found some issues that showed up when using different browsers (ie Firefox vs IE). He sent me a fixed version but been too busy at work to try it out yet and post it.

Probably be little later this week.

As for Tasha I didn't get any emails so can't say anything about it. Be happy to host it also as a alternate version. Or I would have to make time to merge both sheets back together.
