When you create a Wizard, you add your spells to your spellbook, and it appears on the Classes > Wizard tab; when you create an Alchemist, you add alchemical items in 3 different places, and they are not added to your formula book.
I wouldn't think that it would be extraordinarily hard to modify the code for the Wizard spellbook to work for the Alchemist formula book, and/or modify the existing Alchemist code to add the options selected for the Research Field, Alchemist Formulas, and Alchemical Crafting Formulas to the formula book. Additionally, having to choose the same items twice for your research field is kinda silly; would it be possible to have the Signature Items and Research Formulas talk to each other? Meaning if one chooses the items using Signature Items, they are added to Research Formulas, or vice versa? Finally, since the Basic Crafter's Book includes all of the basic 0-level formulas from chapter 6 of the Core Rulebook ("Basic Crafter’s Book: This book contains the formulas (page 293) for Crafting the common items in this chapter." Page 287. On page 293, table 6-13: Formulas has the following: "Formulas for all 0-level common items from this chapter can be purchased collectively in a basic crafter’s book."), when someone purchases this book, these items should populate in the Crafting Formulas tab. |
