I cant seem to get my head around creating the Shillelagh under equipped weapons so I have the correct weapon damage and it using the casting stat. I have tried to use the editor and can create the basics but not make it use my wisdom instead of strength or be proficiencnt in it as a Druid.
Is there a guide as I see many people say they have created these but am too thick to manage it myself? |

I just created an Adjustment that allowed you to pick a club or staff from your currently carried weapons. Then renamed the weapon and switched the ability score used. I also allowed you to select between Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma for use by those who got Shillelagh using the Magic Initiate feat.

I have added in my Shillelagh weapon created in the editor and added the Adjustment to give myself proficiency in it. How do I change it from using Strength to using Wisdom? I cant find any adjustment for changing proficiencies controlling stats just for skills?

The weapon should use wisdom instead of strengh and it should have +1 to hit (it make the weapon magic so masterwork)
Giving the +1 is easy but i really dont see how to change the ability used for it. |

Not sure if you have figured out a better way to do it, by my method is to give the character a club or quarterstaff, then on the adjustments tab:
Custom Name: Weapon = "Shillelagh" Weapon Damage Die Size = +2 (since shillelagh does 1d8) Choose the Shillelagh Damage Bonus: Specific Weapon Choose the shillelagh, add the difference between STR and spellcasting Attack Bonus: Specific Weapon Choose the shillelagh, add the difference between STR and spellcasting and to remind myself it's magical, i can add Custom Text: Weapon = " (magical)" <--- note the space in front of the ( Where do the 5e rules say anything about masterwork? The shillelagh cantrip doesn't say specifically that the weapon becomes +1, just says magical, so that it can overcome damage resistance/immunity. A cantrip granting +1 would make it a bit too powerful for cantrip... |
