Version 3.3 of the Pathfinder files is now available from the updates mechanism within Hero Lab. (There was an error in 3.2 that was found soon after release, which is why most of you will see the version numbers skip from 3.1 to 3.3).

Here's the updates list, from the FAQ:

Enhancements & Changes
  • The ranged and melee touch attack bonuses are now displayed in many places.
  • Added content from Pathfinder 33.
Bug Fixes
  • Fixed an issue with d20pro export where a creature with > 5 foot size or reach would not be exported properly.
  • The Spells in Spellbook printout for a Wizard was also including the Witch's 0-level spells.
  • The Destruction Domain's Destructive Smite ability now shows up in the list of trackers.
  • Fixed errors with the HD calculations for Skeletons and Zombies.
  • A horse companion for a level 4+ Cavalier would incorrectly report that it had 2 general purpose trainings selected.
  • Types were not properly checking to make sure that the hero had racial HD before applying their class skills (so all characters were getting the class skills of their type).
  • In some cases, elements in the Tracker section on page 2 of the character sheet could overlap.
  • The Portable Hole is now a container whose contents have no weight.
  • The "Ray" option, available for selection by feats like Weapon Focus, applies to the ranged touch attack (note that the Weapon Focus feat specifically allows Ranged Touch attacks as a selection, but not Melee Touch attacks).
  • Traits have had their scripts corrected to apply Trait modifiers, instead of general bonuses.
  • The rule allowing only one choice from each of the Trait lists (Combat, Faith, Magic, Social) has been implemented. A new "Unrestricted Traits" option has been added to the House Rules section of the settings (available from the Configure Hero dialog) to remove this restriction.
  • If the character type on the Configure Hero form is not set to PC, the character will not get the normal starting traits (but can still purchase the Additional Traits feat or add an adjustment to gain them).
  • A minion (animal companion, familiar, choice from the Other tab) will not get the normal starting traits (but can still purchase the Additional Traits feat of add an adjustment to gain them).
  • The "Available When Equipped" option in the editor now properly prevents In-Play entries for that item from showing up until the item is equipped.
  • The damage penalty for Alchemical Silver is no longer applied to Bludgeoning weapons.
  • The weight of a stack of items was not properly being multiplied by the quantity.
  • Oracles now have a selector on their class panel for the user to select whether the Oracle should get Cure or Inflict spells as bonus spells. They no longer receive both cure and inflict spells as bonus spells.
  • Order of the Star Cavaliers now display the deity selection form on their class panel.
  • The Oracle of Nature's "Friend to the Animals" power now properly charges for the summon nature's allies spells it adds.
Data File Authoring
  • Races now have the option to mark that they can't speak, even though they know languages. This applies to races like the Bebilith or Griffon, whose language information ends with "(can't speak)".
  • The trait bonus (BonTrait) and Trait Penalty (PenTrait) fields have been added to the available Modifiers (anything that had access to fields like field[Bonus].value, field[ModCirc].value, or field[[BonSacred].value). This is a non-stacking modifier, so #applybonus[] and #applypenalty should be used, rather than simple addition or subtraction.
  • Races can now specify any attributes for which they don't have a score.
  • The "Deity / Turning Info" checkbox has been renamed "Deity / Channeling Info?", and now allows the option to select both a deity and channeling for a class, or either option by itself.
  • The Helper.NoFreeSpl tag can be added to a spell that is being bootstrapped. If present, the class will be charged for that spell as if the user had selected it, but only if the class is capable of learning spells of that level (which means that an ability can add high-level spells to a low-level caster and not worry about which are and are not available yet). (normally, classes are not charged for the bootstrapped spells they receive).
