How do you add a cohort to your character sheet on HLO?

My character has the leadership feat and I don't know how to add a cohort to my character sheet. Can someone help?

I think the idea is to create a new character who is the cohort. I don't see anything about adding a cohort to the character sheet like you would an animal companion or whatever.
 
Yeah, there's not a way as I recall to make them a minion, since cohorts are basically full fledged characters and can be pretty in-depth, they add a lot of complexity to a portfolio if they were done so.
