Hi there!

Maybe we can start to collect bugs, details, workarounds & possible fixes for this version in here.

1)
Topic: The new introduced shortcuts to delete snippets & sections does not work with German and possibly other non-english keyboard layouts
Details: In DE locale ` can only be typed by pressing : SHIFT + ´ followed by a space. The symbol is also on a different area of the keyboard.
Workaround: Yes: German users could try CTRL + ö & CTRL + SHIFT + ö or switch to english keyboard layout via the language settings. Detailed instructions: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/w...#1TC=windows-7

It's actually best for our developers if you submit bug reports via our website. Our bug reporting system allows our staff to easily track bugs in one place, rather than trying to track bugs there, via email, in the forums, and other places across the interwebs.

I don't think Acenoid was recommending people not report bugs using the normal system, but since nobody else can see what bugs you've reported (as your bug reporting system isn't public) it's nice to also mention them here.

As for threads on the forum, I find it much easier to find people having the same problem as you if each issue has its own thread, rather than one big clump of issues smushed together.

Oh the intention was to collect known issues here maybe with possible workarounds. NotToreplaceThe bug reportsystem. But probably it is overkill having them collected by version. since the are not too many threads pulling up. But let's see where this guess. I dare you to find more bugs!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We'll need to put some more thought into our overall hotkey system for non-US keyboards in the future.

Perhaps you could make the hotkeys customizable?

Then if a LW assigned hotkey does not work on the keyboard layout I am using (no such key on the Japanese keyboard, too far between the two keys, what have you) I can always re-assign.

That's one option we're considering.
