Oracle level bonus bug?

With the last update the Elf class bonus for oracle changed from

Add +½ to the oracle’s level for the purpose of determining the effects of one revelation.

To

Add +1/6 to the oracle’s level for the purpose of determining the effects of one revelation.

I can't find any recent FAQ's or errata on this, so I'm not sure why this was changed.. is it a bug?

Here's the ARG page on Paizo's website, which has a link to the ARG 2nd printing errata. This change is on pg. 2, left-hand column, about 3/4 of the way down.
