Hello all,

In the 6th Edition ruleset for Warbands for Tomb Kings, the Ushabti are being forced to unit minimum of 3. This should actually be 1 since they are on a 40x40 base.

Er. Sure about that? What does the tomb kings book say about the US? Ogres are on 40x40 mm bases and they are US3 each. The same goes for other similar sized monsters, such as trolls and korixgors. According to the Unit Strength chart in the 7th ed rulebook (page 71 in the little one) up to and including Ogre sized, square 40/50 mm base on foot creatures (including swarms, chaos spawn, dragon ogres etc) have a US of 3. I'm pretty sure the same rule applied in 6th ed. At least if someone showed me an Ushabti and asked about its unit strength, I surely would guess 3.

But it is of course whatever the Tomb Kings army book says

It's not about Unit Strength but Unit Size, as in the minimum number of models needed. In Warbands, if they are on a 40x40 base then the minimum is one rather than the standard for a regular game of warhammer.

Oh. Sorry. Seems like I mistook a lot

Unit size - Unit strength. Should have read more carefully

But I thought you just said Warband instead of Army... Don't know where in Warhammer the term Warband is used ^^

It's used for a subset of rules designed for much smaller games. It's in 3-part series of US WD's and is listed on the US website as well.
