Thrown Weapon fighting style

Thrown Weapon fighting style adds +2 to the damage of a ranged attack made with a weapon with the Thrown property. Using daggers, this works...as long as they are mundane daggers. Magical daggers (including silvered) and Psychic Blade do not show the +2 from the fighting style.

It would also be nice if, on the In Play tab, Equipped Weapons and Armory weapons showed ranged weapon damages when applicable (like they do on the Weapons tab).

I can't reproduce this. It's properly adding the ranged damage in Psychic Blade, Silvered daggers, and every magical thrown weapon I've checked. If you want to raise an issue on the GitHub about this, with maybe screenshots or your .por file to look at, please feel free.

  • General - Typo fixes
  • Multiple - Fixed multiple versions of Legendary Resistance to show up under Tracked Resources. Reviewed all official and UA Feats with racial pre-requisites to ensure they work with more recent subraces.
  • DMG, GoS, ToA - Water vehicles updated. For the versions from the DMG, have the DMG source selected. For the versions in GoS (with full stat block as a minion to your character), have either the GoS source or the GoS Ships source selected. If you wish to use GoS-style stat block with your ToA canoe, have both the ToA and GoS Ships sources selected.
  • DMG - Fixed Aura of Hate to not add to attack rolls. Fixed Gloves of Thievery and Slippers of Spider Climbing to apply special speeds properly.
  • EEPC - Fixed Genasi subraces' sources. Fixed Water and Fire Genasi's spellcasting features to function properly.
  • EGtW - Hide of the Feral Guardian has been fixed to be studded leather instead of leather.
  • MPMotM - Fixed the Lizardfolk's bite to count as an unarmed strike.
  • XGtE - Fixed Ancestral Guardian Barbarian's Spirit Shield showing wrong #d6's on Class tab.
NEW KNOWN ISSUES
  • The Thri-Kreen's Secondary Arms are just not programmable without major bugs. They're better off left as a text feature.

What's next?

Well, I've been putting off the Acquisitions, Inc. items and ranks for like...ever. Which means I really do need to get around to them. The other thing I noticed recently was that the previous folks working on the pack never actually finished all of the items in the Dungeon Master's Guide. I made some strides towards finishing that out in this release, but there are still several Artifacts that are not added. I'll get those in. Of course, we have a new Dragonlance book coming, so I'll be hopping on that once it releases.

What about One D&D?

I've written out a whole post about One D&D and its relationship to the 5e Community Pack. Go give it a read when you have a moment. Apologies for the novel.

Druid Wildfire circle spell wrong

The 3rd level Wildfire circle spell 'Flaming Sphere' is not displaying on the prepared spell list. It is replaced with the spell 'Aid'.
It's correctly shown on the class' circle spell list description just not in prepared spell list.

Confirmed this. It'll be fixed in the next patch.

Using Tasha's sidekicks warrior class the proficiency bonus at level 5 should go up to 3 but it doesn't. At level 10 is still isn't going past 2 for proficiency bonus.
 
I'm still workin'. Just got a huge chunk of the Dragonlance and Golden Vault monster abilities done tonight.

Glad to hear it. I wish I could help but it's been YEARS since I did any editing for Hero lab.

I updated a closed issue in GitHub for the Noble class from En5ider 34. The Path of the Brave weapon and armor proficiencies and the bonus HP aren't working. Not sure if there is a way to fix it.

I reopened the issue and will take a look. But next time, feel free to make a new issue. I don't have any notifications set up to tell me if a closed one is updated, so I wouldn't have noticed if you didn't say something ;).
 
Just an update on everything I'm working on for Release 3.8 - Heists and Hoopaks:

  • Dragonlance: Shadow of the Dragon Queen - Backgrounds, Items, Kender, Monsters done. Feats almost done. Sidekicks and Subclass are WIP.
  • Keys from the Golden Vault - Monsters done. Items WIP.
  • Monstrous Compendium Vol. 2 - Everything done.
  • Nerds Restoring Harmony - Monsters done. Items WIP.
  • Thieves' Gallery - Done (though they're about to add items from the movie to D&DB so those will sneak into this release.)

There's a few other things, like additional deity updates (some VGM, mostly DL), blessings/supernatural gifts from Icewind Dale and Avernus, and the usual bug fixes. As always, you can see the WIP patch notes here.

I was hoping to have this all done this month so that it would be within 6 months of the last release, but that didn't happen. But I'm hoping to have it all out to you in April.


Remember how I said the next release would have the Acquisitions, Inc. ranks and items, plus a completion of the DMG items? Yeah...probably not gonna happen. But I haven't forgotten about them. I do want them out by the end of the year. I also am aware that a Monstrous Compendium Vol. 3 was released with Minecraft monsters. Those will be in 3.9.
