How to buy gear using Black Market Pipeline

Hi all,

I have a player who wants to use Black Market Pipeline as a positive quality. I have added it to the character and assigned a contact to it as well as a category (armorer in my test case)

When I go to purchase an Armored Jacket it does not show the discount of 10% I am expecting. I cannot find a way to add a modification or customization saying I'm using the contact, I don't see a way to leverage this in the program.

Also I don't see a way to manually adjust the resource cost in character creation. Journal entries do not help me and I cannot buy a negative value gear item.

Can someone please help me with how this should be used in the system? Thanks much in advance.

It's on the Personal tab, under Permanent Adjustments as "Item Cost"

Thanks! I wish there was a way to add the contact category vs. individual but this worked.
