As a developer who uses Visual Studio, I usually drag out my solution explorer, error list, output, and other toolbars/panes into different windows so I can maximise my code window. Docking and floating panels would be much appreciated.

Yeah, getting annoyed with trying to flip between things. Especially because I'm doing a custom system, and as I enter data I realize the "default" needs to be updated, and so I have to save, flip over and add an entry, then flip back. Or I have a thing "done" and want to use it for reference for a new thing that is laid out the same, and have to flip back and forth.
Got the program when it first came out but didn't get to use it much, and I'm sure there has been a lot done with it, but it doesn't seem much more user friendly in many respects, and that is very disappointing. +1 |

It is act of desperation I presume. Hope was butchered multiple times by now.

Something like that, yes. All hope I have left is due to the use of some advanced necromancy.
